Casual: Engagement once a month, self managed, low level of commitment, attends a volunteer meeting when they can.
Regular: 1-3 hours a week, attends at least 1 volunteer meeting in the month.
Engaged: 2 - 5 hours a week, attends a volunteer meeting each week.
Critical: 3-8 hours a week, attends multiple volunteer meetings a week.
Media Engagement Manager
Help put Humanists Australia on the map. As our volunteer Media Engagement Manager, you'll work to raise HA's public profile by building relationships with media outlets, newspapers, and journalists, and by crafting stories that get humanist perspectives into the public conversation. You'll help ensure that people living compassionate, ethical, and fulfilling lives without religion see their views reflected and respected in mainstream media, all from home, with flexible hours that fit around your life. Working alongside a warm, collaborative team and reporting to the CEO, you'll gain real not-for-profit and media relations experience, free HA membership, and references to help you land your dream job. Marketing Team Member
Help spread the word about Humanists Australia. As a volunteer Marketing Team Member, you'll support HA's efforts to reach new audiences and grow awareness of what it means to live a compassionate, ethical, and fulfilling life without religion. You'll contribute to marketing campaigns, help develop promotional materials, and bring fresh ideas to how HA presents itself to the world, all from home, with flexible hours that fit around your life. As our volunteer Video Editor, you'll shape the raw footage from our live streams, weekly discussion group sessions, interviews and other videos, into polished, engaging videos that help spread humanist ideas to a wider audience. You'll work closely with our social media and content team to turn conversations about living compassionate, ethical, and fulfilling lives without religion into content people want to watch and share, all from home, with flexible hours that fit around your life. Working alongside a warm, collaborative team and reporting to the Engagement Program Managers, you'll gain real not-for-profit and video production experience, free HA membership, and references to help you land your dream job.
