Humanists Australia have formed a new label dedicated to popularising humanism. You can be part of our creative community and help us take humanism to the world!

A HUMANIST RECORD & PUBLISHING LABEL
We are a label dedicated to helping promote humanism and humanist causes in alignment with the quote from ‘The Declaration Of Modern Humanism’ in the header above.
It is common knowledge that the combined arts are a powerful medium that can transcend barriers and convey messages.
With this in mind, our purpose is to launch an entire humanist music and film scene that can play an integral part in helping to support and strengthen the humanist movement in much the same way as there has long been a thriving Christian music and film scene.
As humanists, we are very community conscious and our own creative approach involves a collection of community based initiatives which are mutually inclusive.
Our initiatives are:
produce feature videos, ads, jingles, songs and music videos etc with humanist themes,
search for and attract artists with humanist values,
discover new creative talent,
help with artist development,
encourage artists to produce humanist related content,
collaborate with artists in writing/producing humanist related content,
pursue opportunities for creative humanists in general,
help artists gain exposure.
A great way of getting artists interested is to offer them exposure. After all the writing, recording and producing is done they are often stuck for ways to get their material seen and heard. But the humanist community could support these artists if they knew about them.
As part of our overall plan we aim to work in collaboration with humanist and associated groups to establish a growing distribution/sharing network that allows us to guarantee artists will have an audience.
With the ultimate goal to be as far reaching as possible in our combined efforts to advance humanism, the end result will be mutually beneficial for all involved.
As artists with music industry backgrounds we have the knowledge, experience and resources to be able to manage and support these initiatives.
We already associate and collaborate with other humanist, atheist and science communicating artists who have something worthwhile to say, so we know the talent is out there.
In addition, we aim to encourage new up and coming humanist writers, musicians, video producers, graphic artists etc within these communities.
Ultimately, the big picture is an ethically run industry powered by humanist values where a significant amount of the music and art used in content creation will be original works by humanist, atheist and other related artists.
We understand that this is an ambitious undertaking, but with the support of Humanists Australia, associated organisations and the humanist community at large we are confident we can achieve these goals and contribute something worthwhile to humanity.
