Climate Action

Humanists value science and take seriously the facts presented to us by climate scientists showing beyond doubt that climate change is real and we humans are responsible for creating it.

The catastrophic events taking place around the world as a result of climate change will only get worse and could potentially end civilisation as we know it unless we act now.

We humans bear the inherited responsibility of preventing this from happening, and science shows us how we can do this if we act immediately and swiftly. 
Humanists Australia are very passionate about the climate cause, which is why we have dedicated so much time and effort into forming our Climate Action Position Statement.
This statement will be at the core of everything we do in the fight against climate change. It is the framework that all of our future climate campaigns, collaborations and initiatives will be built around.
