ACT VAD: Media Release
The ACT Government is calling for submissions into Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) legislation for the ACT. Humanists Australia is drawing on the personal experience of its chair, Mary-Anne Cosgrove, on its values of compassion, reason, integrity and diversity, and on experience from other jurisdictions, to advocate for a compassionate, holistic approach to end of life care.

Bicycles for Humanity
We know that humanists value environmental sustainability and contributing where we can to minimising waste that impacts the planet. We also know humanists are very keen to support and resource other humans in practical ways. So, perhaps it’s time to dig out and recycle that old bike rather than let it go to waste… and do some humanitarian good at the same time!
