A new month marks a new focus for the Humanists Australia Environment Challenge. July also marks the end of the challenge, and to bring it to a close we are focusing on Plastic Free July. Keeping our environment clean is not just about recycling plastics. It involves making every effort we can to refuse single-use plastics.

The Humanists Australia Environment Challenge continues in this month of June. Today, on World Environment Day, we launch into our focus for June, on gardening and growing food for the benefit your family, your community, and the planet.

Humanists Australia urges our members, and all Australians who are committed to creating a more inclusive and equitable society, where Indigenous Australians have a genuine voice and a meaningful role in shaping their own future, to vote YES.

Humanists Australia supports the Uluru Statement from the Heart. We support the three key elements - voice, treaty, and truth - and accept the invitation from First Nations Peoples to all Australians, to walk with them in a movement of the Australian people for a better future.
